Dear John,

“I don’t care about the odds. I care about what’s right and what’s wrong.” That was the message Rep. Keith Ellison delivered to more than 400 young people who came to Washington, DC, to lobby as part of FCNL’s Spring Lobby Weekend.

Please take a few minutes to watch this short video of Spring Lobby Weekend to see FCNL’s work in action.

As we lobby for lifesaving healthcare programs, there’s little doubt that the odds are stacked against us. But we also know it’s wrong to deprive tens of millions of people from affordable healthcare. The House has already passed the American Health Care Act (ACHA) and the Senate is poised to vote on a companion bill soon. In their current forms, both of these pieces of legislation would have devastating consequences for individuals and families across the country.

In peace,

Diane Randall

Executive Secretary

P.S. – You’ve already done so much to support our collective work for a more just and peaceful world. I do have a request—will you share this video on Facebook and Twitter with your friends, family members, and others who might be inspired to support this work? Thanks!
