We are hosting a poetry reading at Friends Place on Capitol Hill on Thursday, February 20, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. ET. For the event, Poems for Peace, we are inviting poets and poetry lovers to share poems on peace.

We are asking poets to share readings for about 5 minutes. Participants can listen and be inspired by the poetry.

Towards the end of the event, we will talk about advocating for the UNRWA Emergency Restoration Act as a way to pursue peace and stability by helping Palestinian refugees.

We would love to have you and any poetry lovers in your community join us!
